Terms of service.
Effective Sept 28, 2026. Plain-English version: we set up missed-call texting for your shop and keep it running; you pay for setup and the monthly plan and use it lawfully; we don’t promise bookings.
1. The service
CatchMissed sets up and runs missed-call text back for your business: when a call to your business number is missed, the caller receives a text with a next step (reply for a callback, or a booking link). The service is provided during a pilot period and may change as we improve it.
2. What we promise — and don’t
We aim to send a text to every missed caller, typically within one minute. We don’t guarantee that callers will reply, book or become customers, and delivery can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, including carrier filtering and network outages.
3. Fees and payment
- Setup: $149 one-time (pilot price). Rush setup: +$50 for same-day setup.
- Monthly plan: $79 per month, billed in advance through Stripe, including about 200 texts per month. We’ll contact you before charging for unusual extra usage.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
4. Pilot guarantee and refunds
If your missed-call texts get zero replies in the first 14 days after going live, we’ll refund the monthly fee (the setup fee is kept if the setup work was done) — or waive month 1 with setup. Otherwise fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel the monthly plan at any time by emailing info@catchmissed.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and missed-call texting stops then.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate business information and keep your booking link working.
- Use CatchMissed only for follow-up texts to people who called your business — never for marketing blasts or messages to people who didn’t contact you.
- Follow the laws and carrier rules that apply to your business and messaging. We provide general guidance, not legal advice.
- Respond to the customers who reply — CatchMissed starts the conversation; you finish it.
7. SMS terms (for people who receive our texts)
- Program: CatchMissed missed-call follow-up. After you call a business that uses CatchMissed and the call is missed, you receive a text from or on behalf of that business with a way to request a callback or book an appointment.
- Frequency: usually one message per missed call, plus messages in any conversation you choose to continue.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time; you’ll get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email info@catchmissed.com.
- Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- See our Privacy Policy for how phone numbers are handled. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, CatchMissed isn’t liable for lost profits, lost jobs or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms and will note the new effective date here, emailing customers about significant changes. We may suspend service for misuse or non-payment.
